The distractor is a multifunctional instrument developed for use in multi-trauma patients to provide temporary stabilization before fracture reduction and fixation.

  • Provides distraction, rotation, valgus-varus, anterior-posterior angulation, and compression.
  • Allows free manipulation of the traumatic region.
  • It provides the reposition of the fracture by applying the force directly to the relevant area. In this way, it reduces the risk of nerve injury and its complications, minimizing conditions such as peroneal nerve palsy and pudendal crush syndrome.
  • It consists of 2 units, slide-carrier and joint, located on a grooved rod.
  • The distractor has a simple mechanism that can be easily installed and applied using a Schanz screw.
  • It is used with Schanz screws with a diameter of 5 mm.

  • Tibia plateau fractures,
  • Pelvic fractures,
  • It is used in cases of temporary stabilization before fracture reduction and permanent fixation of multi-trauma patients.
