Distal Humerus Medial VAL Plates

The Distal Humerus Medial Plate is designed to conform to the anatomy of the distal humerus, minimizing the surgeon’s need to bend the plates before application. These plates also have the feature of being bendable.

VAL system ability to angle up to 15°

perfectly fit to distal humerus anatomy

  • It is made of Ti6AL4V ELI raw material.
  • It allows an off-axis angle of up to 15° with the 2.7 mm diameter angled screw locking option located in the distal part.
  • Screws from the medial of the condyle intertwine in the distal fragments and form an “arch” structure, providing fixation.
  • The same plate is used for right and left applications.

It is used in the surgical treatment of nonunions of the anatomical region related to intra-articular and supracondylar fractures of the distal humerus.
