Properties

  • Features a conical design, variable thread distance, and full thread to provide strong compression and holding power for fractures, osteotomies, fusion.
  • It provides effective compression by closing the blank between the fracture fragments in a controlled manner.
  • It offers 4 different size options as micro, mini, standard, and plus.
  • The screw is used with K-wires diameters of 1 mm, 1.2 mm, and 1.5 mm.

Indications

HCCS Micro: is used in scaphoid fractures, phalanx fractures, carpal fusion, MCP fusion, radial head fractures, chevron, Akin and Weil osteotomies, and OCD repair.

HCCS Mini: used for scaphoid fractures and nonunion, carpal fusions, radial styloid fractures, fifth metatarsal fractures, midfoot fusions, OCD repair, and osteotomies.

HCCS Standard: used in talus fractures, malleolus fractures, midfoot fusions, MTP fusions, and greater tuberosity fractures.

HCCS Plus: is used for fracture fixation, reconstruction, osteotomy, and arthrodesis of various bone fragments, including surface articular fusions (arthrodeses), in the foot and fixation of intra-articular fractures of the humerus, femur, and tibia.
