Scapula Plates

The Scapula Plates are a system of plates for extensive fixation of scapula fractures, consisting of the medial border, lateral border, acromion, and glenoid plate, fully adapting to the anatomy of the regions.

Properties

  • Since the plates are shaped in accordance with the anatomical region, it does not require bending during the surgical procedure.
  • The Scapula Lateral Plate imitates the specific scapular anatomy, providing a safe reconstruction of severely displaced fractures.
  • The Scapula Medial Plate is designed to conform to the curved anatomy of the scapula, allowing the original anatomy to be reconstructed.
  • While the Glenoid Plate can minimize the need for plate bending, implant placement and screw fixation in bone regions with superior scapular thickness can increase structural strength.
  • Pre-shaped scapula spine plates are designed to closely conform to the patient’s natural acromion curvature and can assist in reconstructing severely displaced acromion fractures.
  • Anatomical for right and left application.

Indications

  • Scapula trunk fractures,
  • Glenoid neck fractures,
  • Intra-articular glenoid fractures,
  • Scapula spine fractures,
  • It is used in acromial fractures.
